1. What we do not use
- No advertising cookies and no advertising pixels.
- No analytics or measurement cookies.
- No social network embeds or share buttons that track you.
- No cross-site or cross-device tracking of any kind.
- No data broker or audience-building tags.
This is why you are not being asked to accept anything. A consent banner would have nothing to ask about.
2. What the site does store in your browser
2.1 Free plan sheet counter
When you build a sheet on the free plan, the site writes a small entry to local storage in your browser recording the current month and how many sheets you have made in it. This is what lets the Create page show “1 of 2 left this month”.
- Stored under the key
paintoku.usage.v1. - It contains a month and a number, and nothing that identifies you.
- It stays on your device. It is never sent to us and we cannot read it.
- It resets on its own at the start of each month.
2.2 Session cookies if you subscribe
If the site operator has configured subscriptions, signing in sets a strictly necessary session cookie so the site knows the session is yours. It exists only to keep you signed in, carries no advertising or measurement function, and is not shared. Cookies of this kind do not require consent under the ePrivacy rules, but they are listed here anyway.
2.3 Payment provider
If you go through the payment flow, the payment provider configured by the site operator may set its own cookies on its own pages for fraud prevention and to complete the transaction. Those are strictly necessary to take a payment safely and are governed by that provider’s own policy.
3. Your pictures are not in any of this
The picture you upload is processed in your browser and is not written to cookies, local storage or any other persistent store. Closing the tab ends it. See the privacy policy for the whole picture.
4. Server logs
Our hosting provider keeps short-lived request logs — IP address, page, timestamp, user-agent — for security and diagnostics. These are not cookies and are not used to profile you.
5. Clearing what is stored
Every browser can clear site data for a single site. In Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari this is under the site settings or privacy section, usually as “Cookies and site data”. Clearing it for catarinaribeiro.shop removes the sheet counter, which means the free allowance display resets — the underlying monthly limit still applies.
Private or incognito windows may block local storage entirely. The site is built to work anyway; you will simply not see a count.
6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We honour both by default, in the simplest possible way: there is no tracking to switch off.
7. Changes
If we ever add anything that stores data in your browser beyond what is listed here, this page will be updated first and the date at the top will change.
